With most Indian languages and German having roots in "Sanskrit", could we be different in our "Sanskriti" (culture)? Actually, the Indians are quite the opposite of Germans. Flexible, chaotic, unorganized, reactive and loud, compared to the more orderly, fixated, specific, planned and 'nein' cultured folks. So it's not easy to say, where the twain meets, if it meets at all? But then we both eat 'Ananas' and spell 'a' as आ or aa, unlike the Americans.
